Born in Wheeling, West Virginia in 1945, Dr. Owen Thomas Ashton graduated from Ohio State University before entering the U.S. Navy. While on active duty, he completed a Master of Science degree and later earned his medical degree from Rush University College of Medicine. Since 1984, he has practiced surgery in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Alongside his professional life in medicine, Dr. Ashton has cultivated a reflective and deeply thoughtful perspective on awareness, healing, and personal transformation—one that now reaches readers through Living Above the Chaos.
